Method

  1. To toast the oats – sprinkle the oats onto a medium hot frying pan and shake around the pan – watch carefully. As they begin to turn light brown in colour take them pan off the heat. The process takes about five minutes.
  2. If you are using strawberries, finely chop the fruit – raspberries can be left whole.
  3. Place a layer of oats on the base of your serving dish followed by a layer of fruit then some yoghurt. Repeat the process, finishing with a layer of oats and fruit.
  4. Finish with a drop of honey if desired.
