We’re delighted to have been given the opportunity to do some sampling at this weekend’s Highland Military Tattoo, a showcase of the best of Highland and military culture and traditions, set against the stunning backdrop of Fort George near Inverness.
Shows are taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, with an afternoon matinee on Saturday.
The Highland Military Tattoo brings together top military performers, talented young local performers and some of the world’s finest re-enactors. The event will get off to a roaring start with a Typhoon fly past and will culminate with a stunning fireworks display.
Limited tickets are still available for all four shows. Check availability here, or visit the Highlanders Museum at Fort George or the Eden Court Theatre in Inverness. Tickets start at £20 and discounts are available for Veterans, OAP’s and children.
Gates open two and a half hours before each show to allow visitors to enjoy the displays of aircraft, cars and military equipment, support a variety of military charities, and shop and eat in the Food and Drink Village where a wide variety of fayre will be on offer. Visitors will find Hamlyns samples available to take away from display stands at three locations around the village.
