Start the festive season with Edinburgh’s Christmas Charity Festival

Get your festive season off to a great start by donning your trainers and some Christmas fancy dress to support local charities through Edinburgh’s Christmas Charity Festival, taking place in Inverleith Park and Stockbridge this weekend.

This annual community event, now in its twelfth year, goes from strength to strength, and raises thousands of pounds for local charities.

It’s a great way of kicking off the festive season and at the same time helping local charities. 100% of the money participants raise goes direct to their chosen charity.

The event has something for everyone with 5k and 10k runs, the Edinburgh Christmas Walk, a Santa toddle and parade, a golden tinsel mile and a charity festival with stalls, live music and entertainment and of course Santa’s Grotto.

Hamlyns are delighted to continue to support the event through providing samples of porridge for the 4,000 fundraisers who are expected to join in this weekend’s festivities.
