Turriff Show – Bigger and Better than Before!

This year’s annual Turriff Show, which takes place at The Haughs, Turriff on Sunday 4th and Monday 5th August, promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The show is the largest two-day agricultural show in Scotland, attracting 30,000 visitors both from the farming community and families who enjoy the show for its wide array of attractions.

The organisers award more than 320 trophies in a range of competitions from the best cattle, sheep and horses, through to working dogs, poultry and vintage and classic vehicles. Other attractions include pipe band displays, highland dancing competitions, children’s activities and races, and the Sunday Open Dog Show,

Be prepared to be stunned by Sundays’ ringside entertainment from by the 3SIXTY Bicycle Stunt Team, with Monday’s grand spectacle being provided by the return of the Heavy Horse turnout.

The food fayre has been expanded considerably this year, and we’re looking forward to exhibiting alongside a wide range of local producers including producers of fine beef and fish, cheese, jams and chutneys, ice cream, fine wines and fruit liqueurs.

It’s a great opportunity to discover, sample and buy delicious local products, as well as learning some top tips in the cookery theatre.
