Glenegedale House is a multi award-winning luxury boutique bed and breakfast, situated midway between Bowmore and Port Ellen on Islay, the southernmost island of the Inner Hebrides.
It boasts four individually designed en-suite bedrooms featuring stylish furnishings, large comfortable beds with crisp white bedlinens, fluffy towels and luxury toiletries.
Hamlyns has teamed up with Glenegedale House to give you the opportunity to win a two night stay for two people, including afternoon tea on arrival, breakfast on both mornings, and dinner on one night when you can choose between Glenegedale’s fabulous seasonal platters.
Hosts Graeme and Emma Clark both have a passion for home baking and whether you’re enjoying breakfast, afternoon tea or dinner, there will always be freshly baked treats on offer.
Their focus is on sourcing the finest produce from Scotland’s larder.
Breakfast options include a fabulous full Scottish cooked breakfast, including eggs from the hens that live at the rear of the house, poached fruits, and homemade granola and porridge, both made with Hamlyns Scottish Porridge Oats. Porridge is a particular treat, served the Glenegedale way, with a dram of Islay Malt.
Evenings are a feast for the senses with a range of platters featuring the finest Scottish charcuterie, cheeses or seafood, served on top of an Islay whisky barrel and accompanied by homemade bread and oatcakes, and Millers Larder chutneys.
