• Method

  1. Grate and steam one carrot
  2. Put the cooked carrot into a pan with the porridge oats
  3. Add your choice of milk and the turmeric
  4. Bring to a gentle simmer, then simmer for around four minutes, stirring frequently
  5. Put into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings – Lowra recommends fruit, chocolate and syrup
