Homemade dog treats are really easy to make. They’re much less expensive than buying treats, and and your dog will love them.
Start by heating your oven to 190C/170F.
Simply mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl until fully combined to make a firm dough. Add more water if necessary. If you have a mixer, knead the mixture with a dough hook for a few minutes, or you can tip the mixture out onto a lightly floured surface and knead by hand. Then roll out on a lightly floured surface to around 1cm thick. Dust lightly with flour and using a cookie cutter, cut out into any shape you like, the place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper, and bake in the oven for around 25 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.
Cool then store in an airtight container.
