Melt the butter and set aside.
Put the oatmeal, milk, eggs, sugar/Agave syrup, baking powder and cinnamon into the blender. If you’re using unsalted butter add a pinch of salt too. Blend for a minute, then add the melted butter and blend for another minute.
Allow to sit for five minutes, meanwhile plug in your waffle maker to heat.
Give your batter a quick stir, then pour into the waffle maker – the amount you need will depend on the size of your waffle maker.
Repeat until all your batter is used up.
Top with fruit, bacon and maple syrup, peanut butter, or else anything you like.
These waffles freeze well. Freeze flat with greaseproof paper in between each waffle, then simply pop into the toaster to re-heat.
