Put the cold porridge into a bowl and add in all of the other ingredients. Mix well together to make a batter the consistency of thick cream. If it’s too thin add some more oats or some oatmeal to thicken.

Cook generous tablespoons in a medium hot frying pan or on girdle, turning when bubbles burst.

Enjoy warm, simply spread with butter, or with any other toppings you enjoy.
