Put the minced meat, sausage meat and oats into a bowl and mix well.
Season with a little salt and pepper, and the spices if you are using them, then bind with the beaten egg to a stiff consistency (you might not need all of the egg)
Shape into small balls about the size of a walnut and lay onto the roasting tin.
Bake for 10 minutes then turn over to cook the underside and cook for a further 8 to 10 minutes untill crisp.
Spear with a cocktail stick and serve warm with cranberry sauce, or try with other dips such as sweet chilli.
